Lidija Stebernak

Born 23 November 1962



She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana in 1987. She first worked in Kostroj company v Slovenske Konjice, first as a lawyer in the personnel department, and then as head of personnel. In 1991 she was employed by the municipality of Slovenska Bistrica as the municipality’s secretary. In 1993 she passed the bar exam.


From 1995, when the current structure of administrative units was introduced, she headed the Municipality of Slovenska Bistrica, when she was also an active member of the council of the heads of municipalities and working groups to update the regulations on records and for agriculture, forestry and food. She also has extensive experience in the area under the competence the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning.
