PM Borut Pahor Joins Anti-Alcohol Campaign

PM Borut Pahor has joined the "40 Days without Alcohol" campaign, which was launched on Wednesday by the Slovenian Caritas.

The Prime Minister has joined the cause out of solidarity with all who face problems caused by excessive alcohol use.

The Prime Minister believes that the abuse of drinking culture has a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and the entire Slovenian society, because this too often leads to tragic consequences on roads, in families or at the workplace. These are realistic problems we have to face, and our obligation is to help every human being to find a way out of their distress.

Prime Minister Pahor also believes that sport and exercise is the best was for getting rid of stress and solving everyday troubles.

According to him, sport gives us enough time to think about certain problems, strengthen our spirit, and at the same time improve our health.

The Prime Minister also invites other people to join the campaign and contribute to better lives of every member of our society.
