In his address speech, Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Žbogar noted that the forum is one of the major ways in which Slovenia is trying to find both its role in the modern world and answers to the questions posed at the onset of a new decade. 26.08.2010 - At today's regular session, the first since the summer break, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia approved three of the four proposed laws which constitute a new traffic legislation package aimed at providing a new and comprehensive legal framework. The Government also approved two agreements signed with Libya, and discussed the implementation of the ‘Lukenda’ project aimed at reducing court backlogs. More>>

31.07.2010 - The Slovenian and Croatian Prime Ministers, Borut Pahor and Jadranka Kosor, met in Bohinj on the first anniversay of their meeting in Trakoščan. At today's informal meeting the Prime Ministers agreed to further intensify cooperation between the two States.

29.07.2010 - The Government adopted Slovenia’s position towards the Green Paper on Forest Protection and Information in the EU, as well as the wordings of Motorway Company Act and Act amending the International Protection Act. The Government also adopted a Programme for Stimulating the Internationalisation of Companies, and tasked the Government Office for Development and European Affairs with coordinating and planning all matters relating to the OECD. 28.07.2010 - PM Borut Pahor concluded his informal visit to Banja Luka by meeting the PM of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik. The PM's focused on economic relations between Slovenia and Republika Srpska, explored the possibilities of enhancing economic cooperation, and also touched upon the current situation in the Western Balkans, in particular in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 27.07.2010 - PM Borut Pahor paid an informal visit to the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikola Špiric. The two Prime Ministers have established that there are no open political issues between the two countries, but advocated a more intensive search for solutions of regional issues, such as the succession issue of the former SFRY. 27.07.2010 - German Minister of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle paid a working visit to Slovenia, during which he held talks with his host, Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Zbogar. During the talks, both sides committed themselves to further strengthening positive relations and political dialogue between the two countries. More>>

26.07.2010 - PM of Luxembourg and President of the Euro Group Jean-Claude Juncker paid an official visit to Slovenia, where he met his Slovenian Counterpart Borut Pahor. The Prime Ministers announced that Luxembourg and Slovenia will strengthen cooperation in high and green technology and in development aid.

22.07.2010 - At today's session, the Government of the Republic of Slovenia accepted an initiative of Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to pay a contribution to OECD activities in the field of innovation, and adopted Recommendations on measures for an environmentally efficient state administration.
